The picture was taken in 2003 and shows the southern end of the original airfield. The row of trees running from lower left toward the centre of the photo delineates the main runway and over to the right the familiar figure "8" hardstand of the former 791st squadron area is clearly seen. Note the housing development which is a recent feature on what was the perimeter of the airfield.
