B24H 42-52512 "Baffling Brat" 790th B.S.

An original aircraft with the 467th BG it crashed in the Austrian Alps following the mission to Munich 12th July 44. Flown by the 790th Lt. Fred Sullivan crew they bailed out after the aircraft sustained heavy flak-damage. One crew member was killed thought drowned in a fast running mountain stream after bailing out. See Casualties Page.
