Additional Remarks: crash-landed at Belton, Suffok, with the 791st Squadron Lt. Harrington crew on the return from the days mission to Lubeck, 25th August 44. Fuel-starved, with the loss of engine power the majority of the crew bailed out. Several crew went down with the plane but suffered little more than cuts and bruises. See Road Naming Ceremony 2006
