B24 Aircraft Nose Art of the 467th BG(H)

B24H 42-95201 791st B.S./790th B.S. "Blonde Bomber"

Additional Remarks: Formerly with the 791st Squadron with which it flew between May 44 to October 44. By late October it was assigned to the 790th Squadron to which it remained until the end of the War. Remarkably this aircraft had three different "names" or artwork while with the Group. It seems "Blonde Bomber" was painted on the port side at least while with the 790th but it has also adorned the names "Stinker" and "Saucey Pants" on the starboard side as the following two photos reveal.
