Since the end of WW2
numerous Memorials, Markers, Plaques, recording an important
notable incident or happening in a local community have arisen
throughout the UK and indeed formerly occupied Europe, while
many individuals, air crews, and the Group, have been
memorialized in the Memorial
Gardens at the historic Savannah, Mighty Eighth Heritage
Center in the U.S. The official 467th BG(H) Memorial
can be viewed on Gallery Four "Rackheath Today" which also
includes other local markers relating to the Group, while this
page concentrates on those 467th BG(H) Memorials that have
been erected at the scenes of accidents and losses elsewhere
in the UK and further afield in Europe and
beyond.
