A replacement crew in the 791st. The crew were involved in the loss of "Belle of the East" returning from a mission to Lubeck, 25th August 44. Losing power the majority of the crew bailed out, three gunners went down with the ship but survived with cuts and bruises when the ship crashed at Belton near Yarmouth. In the lead crew changes of October 44 the crew were transferred to the 788th Squadron.
