Formerly under the command of Captain Joe Severance the crew flew their first of three missions under his command on December 11th 44 aboard "Witchcraft". Lt Leo Jones took over thew crew for the first time in February 1945. This photo was taken immediately after completing a mission and an example of the flying apparel the aircrews were required to wear in minus 50 degree temperatures at bombing altitude.
