Section of the main Rackheath runway in existence today. The original full width of the runway is evident in this remaining section either side of Muck Lane which bisects the former runway linking the villages of Rackheath and Salhouse. On the right (out of view behind the fence) is a navigational beacon used for the local Norwich airport approach, the former base of the 458th BG known as Horsham St. Faith.
