One of the original Squadron crews this photo was taken at Wendover during the training phase. Believed to be the first of the original air echelon crews to arrive at Rackheath, they beat everyone else arriving 8th March 44. The crew completed their 35 missions on the 25th July 44 in a little over 3 and half months of combat operations
