At the annual 2004 Covington/Cincinnati 467th BG convention I was given a very unexpected and big surprise in the presentation of a wonderful piece of illustrated artwork painstakingly drawn on to an A2 leather flying jacket. Cindy Stevens, daughter of Jack, was the gifted illustrator who performed a fantastic job replicating the nose art of Jack's B24 "Jack The Ripper II". On the front of the jacket is the 467th red and white Liberamus insignia, and alongside a cheeky figure representing the 467th's Commanding Officer, Col. Al Shower, complete with cigar.

It is such a fine example of Cindy's handiwork and warm generosity, it is a pleasure to share pictures of the A2 on this website dedicated to the veterans of the 467th Bomb Group.
