The Sawyer crew were formerly crew#28 with the 789th Squadron flying 7 missions commencing mid-February 45 before transfer to lead crew status with the 791st on 25th March 45. They flew a further 5 missions as crew#84 in a  lead or deputy lead position before the end of operations in April 45.

Unfortunately, this is the only known photo of the crew and despite a little restoration is the best available.
