B24H 42-95032 "Silver Chief" 789th/791st B.S.
Another
fine study of "Silver Chief" approaching the runway at
Rackheath. Started operating combat with the 789th
Squadron then spent late October, November,
and early December with the 791st Squadron before
reverting back to the 789th until the end of
hostilities. Returned to the U.S. in June 1945.
