4th December44 B24H 42-95273 & B24J 44-40465 Rackheath  

Non-operational taxiing accident: alleged that a 790th crew chief who had been on pass the previous evening fired up all four engines without the brakes or chocks in place. B24 #273 rolled across the hardstand and taxi strip colliding with the B24J parked at the opposite hardstand. This occurred on the east side of the airfield in the 790th squadron area.
