B24H 42-52534 "Witchcraft" 790th B.S.

The most famous B24 in the Group, and probably the most reknowned B24 of the entire 8th Air Force. An original aircraft flown over by the Lt. George Reed crew, it flew on the Group's first operational combat mission and also the Group's penultimate and 220th mission of 21st April 45. It completed 130 combat missions, an 8th Air Force record, and not a single mission resulted in an "abort" for crew or technical reasons.
