Picture taken at Rackheath when the aircraft was assigned to the 791st Squadron between May and mid October 44. Transferred to the 789th Squadron the aircraft was lost crashing into the North Sea with the Lt. Mills crew returning from a mission to Stuttgart 4th March 45. Rumoured to have been brought down by an English coastal battery, there were only two survivors from the crew. See Casualties Page. See also Nose Art
