In 1987, for five days in Spring the 2nd Air Division returns to Norwich to build new memories while gathering old ones as they walk the trails of time, touch old friends and reach out to make new ones in a reunion with their British friends in special places...Thorpe Station, Norwich Cathedral, old air bases, the 2nd Air Division Memorial Room, the American Military Cemetery. The 467th visits Rackheath and Salhouse.
There is a 13 minute postscript showing the nearly 1,000 American reunion participants at the Royal Air Force base at Coltishall. Our father, Joe Dzenowagis, Sr., a navigator with the 467th Bomb Group, with my Mom, Helen and sister, Joan, all producers of Eight Candles, wanted to show the images of what these veterans and their family members looked like at this time in their lives.
