When do you get a chance to see a group video of dozens of veterans of a historic 8th Air Force bomb group sing a song in front of a B24? Here's the 467th Bomb Group 2nd Air Division in front of the B24 Laden Maiden at Barksdale Air Force Base, an 8th Air Force base, near Shreveport, Louisiana in 1987. Our Dad, Joseph Dzenowagis, a navigator with the 467th, is here with his air crew and veterans of the 467th, most in their mid 60's, some 42 years after they dropped bombs on German targets. You will also see the veterans and spouses afterwards more close up in a sequence as they walk past the camera for their excursion on a riverboat. These segments are part of a longer video that includes many veterans and crews around and inside the B24. It includes the League of Nations ground crew that was in charge of the 8th Air Force's champion bomber, Witchcraft. We will upload the longer video as soon as we complete its digitizing.
