Hundreds of 2nd Air Division 8th United States Army Air Force veterans return to where they were based in World War II, Norwich, England, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of VE Day, Victory in Europe, on May 7th, 1995. During the war they flew B24 Liberator bombers against the German war machine in the skies over Europe and in Africa, braving German fighters and deadly flak. Now in their 70's, they march the victory with hundreds of British veterans in a parade along the path of the original parade 50 years ago, uphill and down through the narrow, winding, cobblestone streets of Norwich to the cheering of thousands spectators all the way to the ancient Norwich Cathredal.
