Another dramatic photo believed to depict the moments after the 789th Sq. Lt. Counts Crew were struck by flak shortly after bombs-away with catastrophic consequences. With the exception of Pilot Bill Counts the entire crew were lost to this tragic incident. See Casualties Listing.
