Mission Narrative
Bad weather restricts operations to NW France for the 8th AF mission #403. 883 bombers are flown to attack tactical targets, airfields and choke points in France. The 2nd BD flew 2 missions this day. The 467th BG was a part of the morning mission that saw 119 B-24's dispatched to attack the airfields at Chateaudun and Orleans/Bricy Airfield.

12 aircraft from the Group began take off at 1030 to attack the airfield at Chateaudun. The Squadron was joined by a PFF (Gee-H) ship and led the 'B' Group in the high right position of the 96th CBW. Assembly and route to target was as briefed.

The Squadron was led by Major Smith on the PFF ship. Deputy Lead was Lt. Hanna on 42-94-963 with crew #076-R0 of the 791st BS.

All 12 aircraft from the Group bombed the target Bombing was done through 10/10 cloud cover by Gee methods. Results were unobserved.

No enemy aircraft were seen and no flak was encountered, No aircraft were lost and there were no casualties.
