Mission Narrative
V-weapons sites were again the target for the 8th AF on mission #360. 150 bombers were dispatched to hit V-weapon sites in France. The 2nd BD sent 110 B-24's to attack the site at Siracourt in France.

Twelve aircraft from the Group started take off at 11:28, each loaded with 6x1000lb bombs. Difficulty was had forming on the PFF ship as other squadrons from the 458th BG and 466th BG were assembling around 'Splasher 5' at the same time with very little difference in altitude. Once the Group was assembled, the Wing and Division assembly "went off as briefed with no difficulty".

Ten aircraft attacked the targe, dropping on the PFF ship which was using 'Gee-H'. 41-29388 'Slick Chick' and 42-52512 'Baff'ling Brat' both developed engine trouble and returned early. Major Palmer lead the Group on the PFF ship. Lt. Hooten flew Deputy Lead with Lt.Volk on 42-50309 'Plow Jockey / Tenovus' with crew #030-R0 of the 789th BS.

Results of the bombing was unobserved due to cloud cover. Flak was meager and no enemy aircraft were encountered.
